The Cafritz family continues its commitment
to working closely with the local community to make this
development a point of pride for the area. By working with
area residents, our team hopes to develop and implement
a plan that incorporates mixed-use community spaces with
public amenities and access to Metro, MARC rail and the
surrounding neighborhoods.
The Cafritz family held the sixth and seventh community
workshops on Saturday, September 15, and Tuesday, September
18. The development team showed a proposed disposition of
buildings and building heights on the site, along with the
greenspace, retail and commercial uses and public and non-profit
spaces proposed for the site. Attendees were encouraged
to respond and did so. They were asked to urge others to
respond to the website as well.
